Technological innovation: Ophthalmic optics plays a key role in the social environment as one of their main tasks is to help offset visual anomalies, which usually is called to establish the correct refraction of a patient and determine the appropriate prescription to compensate for ametropia detected.
The project is financed through Program R & D of Helps for Technology Institutes 2010 (IMIDIP/2010/16) Institute for Small and Medium Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana (IMPIVA) and the European Social Fund, in collaboration with University of Budapest.
Industrial application: The adaptation of help optical system of does not always guarantee a good quality of the visual system of the individual, being appropriate for evaluating the quality of both the optical element used for compensation as the most eye lens assembly.
With the implementation of this project pretends to train technicians in the field of optics, to facilitate the development of new applications for evaluating the quality of optical systems used in the compensation of visual defects.
