Any worker in the construction sector will be able to bring in the palm of his hand the picoprojector and connect to a PDA or mobile phone to display clearly in site all documentation required in image, text or audio format. The project thus will offer a reliable and affordable solution to streamline the day to day business of construction.
AIDO, along with other PicoDiCon project partners –Eesti Innovatsiooni Instituut, Elgerta Electronics, Epicrystals Oy, Fraunhofer Institut Photonische Mikrosysteme, Hiperscan GMBH y Osauhing Bellust Elektroonika−, they met in the Consell delegation in Brussels to present this international initiative and give awareness of the opportunities to participate in initiatives financed by the European Union. This project, whose completion period covers two years (2009 to 2011), is funded by the call for research for the benefit of SMEs in the Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration for the period 2007 - 2013.
