By means of material-providing laser techniques, or laser cladding, aido is able to repair the worn parts of various components. The process is characterised by the highly controlled application of heat which allows its use in delicate components that are hard to repair by conventional welding techniques.
By means of laser welding very high quality parts can be joined. This technique has now been strongly implemented in the car industry, being used in more and more new applications which benefit from the high precision and process reproducibility.
Whether in 2D or in 3D, the laser technique is used to obtain intricate high quality geometrical components. The main advantage of laser cutting lies in the flexibility of the process as it is easy to change the cutting geometries and the variety of materials that can be processed with the same machine.
The heating by laser of a material that can be tempered allows the obtaining of the hardening of the processed surface in a localised manner. The main advantage of hardening surfaces by laser lies in the fact that it is possible to harden only the areas of a component where it will wear without altering the mechanical properties of the remainder of the same.

It is applied to the marking of both industrial and non industrial parts and allows the traceability of these parts by means of the marking of alphanumeric codes or Datamatrix.
